Biofeedback Slot Cars - Raceway Controlled by GSR Here at Bio-Medical Instruments Inc., we are on the cutting edge of physiological systems and developing new and exciting applications. The Biofeedback Raceway was designed as a proof of concept. The GSR controlled racetrack works by using the racers GSR (Galvanic Skin Response). The goal of the track is to get the users the "Relax to Win". The biofeedback slot cars have a variable speed based on the racers state of relaxation or stress. You really want to get excited but when you do - your car slows down. You have to learn to remain calm even while excited. Users race to 100 laps and the racer with the best time wins.
This type of technology could be used to control a wheel chair, a prosthetic limb, or anything that could use servo controllers.
